If you’re looking for something special or to restock your freezer, 20 minutes west on King Road you’ll find Nobleton’s Loconte Fine Meats a premium butcher that offers a great selection of fresh and packaged Italian meats.
In the afternoon, check out Pine Farm Orchard. You can pick your own apples here in the fall, but it’s open year-round selling seasonal treats, as well as strawberries, oranges, pears, blueberries, and fresh vegetables.
Then, check out one of the local trails or parks. King City Trail is a family favourite, but there’s also the Ed Millar Side Trail that winds from Oak Ridges to Seneca College’s King Campus. Or head north to Centennial Park, with forest paths perfect for hiking or mountain biking.
For an evening out, enjoy the patio at LOCALE Restaurant. Located in a 150-year-old building in the heart of King City, this quaint restaurant that serves delicious Italian style meals.
